Period of Convergence: reform | stability | competition | risk Active ACADEMY 3rd International Finance Summit will take place on 01–02 December 2005, in Lutfi Kirdar Convention and Exhibition Center. The main theme of this year’s Summit will be “Period of Convergence: reform | stability | competition | risk” We are all undergoing a period of change, whereby we all try to adapt to the demanding and changing circumstances. The changes in the new period; challenges of the EU accession and the changing macroeconomic conditions being the most demanding of all, need to be managed. Turkish finance sector plays a pivotal role in this transition period because the leveraging effect it has, can easily pass the seeds of change to other sectors, thus spreading and fastening the convergence. We all have to participate and truly believe in the period of change as this is the only way for a healthy existence of us all. Active ACADEMY 3rd International Finance Summit, a ground for strategic analysis of the transition period, will host valuable experts and create a precious atmosphere for sharing experiences, different points of view and solutions. We hope to grasp the true nature of the transition period and the challenges lying ahead and are determined to facility the flow of information between the relevant parties through a valuable platform of intense deliberation and discussion.
